Pine Box Show/KickStarter Video Shoot - 3.3.2013

If you followed I Am the Third's Kickstarter project, you know they have been working long and hard to bring you a video for their hit song, Vanilla Sky.

For those not on the KickStarter mailing list, I will share with your the good news:

Project Update #2: Hurricane Show Filmed!

Posted by Alec Stephens III
Hey Everybody,
One of the key components in the narrative of the video is a show that the star characters end up attending at the end.  Originally we were going to do a shoot on the day that Hurricane Sandy ended up hitting and really knocking New York City and the surrounding areas.  Everything ended up getting pushed back.
The good news is that yesterday, we finally shot the footage and put on the show for the scene in the video, so most of the heavy lifting is done.  So, the video, and all the prizes should be on their way to you by late March/ early April.   Thank you so much, and we look forward to sharing the video.
All The Best!
The band put in long hours yesterday at the Pine Box Rock Shop, doing shot after shot of them performing the song with only the camera crew to play to until later in the night. By the end of the evening though, there was a full-fledged concert with support from Midnight Mosaic, Bill Bartholomew, and Pinkwing before IATT took the stage again, this time to a crowded house. The fans loved the show, got to hear some new material, and of course, got to have a real, hands-on part of the Vanilla Sky music video by lending their support and enthusiasm to the shoot. After a lot of rough patches and rescheduling due to the storm, everything is finally wrapped up and on its way to production.

Of course, you'll have to wait patiently for the video, but I can show you a few teaser photos of the show and some fan photos videos of the experience.

The music video producer Nathan Willis getting some shots from the stage:

Thanks to the always supportive Basar Kazi, we have a sneak peak at a brand new song, performed live for the first time: "Can You Feel It?"

And from one of IATT's biggest fans, Candy Smith, we have a nice video of the hit "Welcome to Brooklyn."

And that's all you get! From here on, it's a short wait until the video is finished and ready to meet the world, so keep and eye out and expect to see updates both here, Facebook, and IATT's official site! Until then, keep looking for the positive in life, and enjoy a little dream rock while you're at it.
