Spike Hill - 3.17.2014

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, I Am the Third put on a great show at Spike Hill. The audience was primed and ready to dance, and the band's high energy and smooth grooves were just right to make for an upbeat and exciting performance.

Here is the original post for the show if you're interested in the details.

The set began under a holiday-appropriate green glow.

And the grooves quickly grew...

...To an irresistible build up...

...Until it was all you could do not to get up and move!

The music was the perfect recipe for a high energy night of celebration.

The venue was packed and the audience was having a great time!

Before the song "Brown Liquor," the band's biggest fan, Basar, bought the musicians an appropriate shot.

Bottoms up!

The music continued with a soulful sound that kept the audience moving.

And the show ended with a big finish as Alec looked into the audience to see everyone rocking out to the tunes.

The show was a great welcome back to the band after their long hiatus from performing. The work they did while they were out of the spotlight really showed as they introduced their new tunes and improved grooves to the world. I can't wait to see what they do next!
